Neo Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has the corporate philosophy of "supporting creative activities by utilizing patent information" and conducts business such as selling patent reports, conducting patent technology searches, and providing invention creation support services. In conducting these business activities, the Company has established this Privacy Policy in order to ensure the proper handling of personal information in accordance with the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" ("Personal Information Protection Act").

In this Privacy Policy, personal information refers to information about a living individual that falls under any of the following categories:

 

Information that can identify a specific individual through names, dates of birth, and other descriptions {all matters (excluding personal identification codes) that are written or recorded in documents, drawings, or electromagnetic records (records created by electronic, magnetic, or other means that cannot be perceived by human senses), or expressed using voice, actions, or other methods} (including information that can be easily cross-referenced with other information to identify a specific individual). Information that includes personal identification codes.

To prevent unauthorized access, loss, damage, alteration, or leakage of personal information, we will implement necessary measures such as maintaining security systems, establishing management structures, and providing employee training, thereby ensuring strict management of personal information.

  • In cases where it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of the sound upbringing of children, and it is difficult to obtain the person's consent.

  • When cooperating with a national or local government agency or an entity entrusted by them in carrying out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual's consent would likely hinder the performance of those duties.

  • When verifying the legitimacy of a user's bank account or credit card with financial institutions, card companies, etc., during payment processing for paid services or product orders.
